We love to work with wall colours, since we consider them (and lighting) as one of the most important aspects to achieve a certain atmosphere in a space. However, choosing the right colour is more difficult than many would like to admit. Different sources of lighting, existing furniture and materials have a huge impact on how the new colour will actually look on your wall. 
For the paint selection process, we will meet at your home and show you different colour options and combinations that will work with your existing interior. After the meeting, you will receive a detailed list of the specific paint colours, sheen, and surfaces. If required, we are happy to recommend a trusted supplier from our network to perform the actual painting work.

I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP SOME OF MY OLD FURNITURE. CAN YOU INCORPORATE THEM INTO THE NEW INTERIOR DESIGN CONEPT?

It rarely happens that our customers contact us to furnish their home with entirely new furniture. Most of the time, they already have existing pieces, which may have an emotional meaning, or which were only purchased recently. Existing furniture don’t necessarily have to be unsuitable. On the contrary, they often give a room a very special character in combination with new pieces, but also can be transformed into very individual pieces with low expenditure.
However, re-designing your home can be a great opportunity to de-clutter and get rid of superfluous, useless objects. This will not only free your space, but also your mind. 
Since we value sustainable design, we will of course try to integrate your existing furniture into the new interior design concept.

Whether you want to set up a home office, you are expecting a child and want to furnish a kid’s room, or you simply want to re-design the living room and the kitchen because you inherited some new furniture, we can adapt to your specific needs.
Customers who haven’t worked with an interior designer before sometimes choose to start with the redesign of one room, which gives us the opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of a professional interior design service.
We can be flexible and will tailor the scope of our engagement to fit your specific needs, whether it is for one room or your entire house!

DO YOU ALSO OFFER EDESIGN?

We do.

Everything has s gone online these days, so it makes sense that this question is getting asked more and more often. The design process is entirely based online and depends on an effective collaboration between you and us. As our customer, you actively participate in the design process by documenting the specific room and articulating your design wishes via inspirational images. You will receive a shopping list from which you can order the selected furniture, fabrics and accessories. Possibly necessary external specialists will be commissioned and coordinated by yourself.
A project that is carried out online only, will on the one hand be less time-consuming and less expensive, but on the other hand the effort for the customer during and after the project will be higher.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN INTERIOR DESIGNER AND AN ARCHITECT?

An architect designs, reviews and oversees the construction of buildings, primarily aiming to build a structure that is both functional, structurally sound and aesthetically appealing. An interior designer helps to furnish and accessorise the empty interiors, constantly keeping needs, lifestyle, preferences and budget of the client in mind. Details like selecting materials, furniture, wall designs, colour schemes, accessories and more fall within the scope of the designer.

When building a completely new home, we always recommend our clients incorporate an interior designer at the earliest possible stage. Small things such as the opening directions of doors and window, the correct height of a lighting outlet for a wall lamp, or the position of light switches, can make a huge difference to a functional, sophisticated home.
We will consider how your daily living pattern and lifestyle will impact the interior space and therefore the final furnishing. For instance, the location of interior doors, windows and focal points like fireplaces all affect the position of your furniture. Sometimes those positions can interrupt the natural traffic flow, disturb the atmosphere or block a view of the outside. We will carefully discuss your design preferences with you and will inventory and measure any furnishings you want to use in your new space. Furniture plans for each room will clarify whether all of those locations will work for you or whether there need to be any modifications to the architectural plans that will save you time and revisions charges.

We are flexible!

We tailor the scope of our services to your specific needs, taking into account your individual budget. The costs of an interior design project usually consist of two main parts: our design services, including everything from initial design concept to implementation, and any third-party products or services, including furniture, fabrics, delivery and external providers (painters, plumbers, etc.).
For our design services we charge a fixed price for each required project phase (design development, design concept, purchasing, installation) based on the size of your project.
With our third-party manufacturers and service providers we will always negotiate the best possible conditions for you. We can assure you that we will never knowingly charge more than the price you would pay when you purchase the item directly in the shop.
